Life Lately //

We were really enjoying the beautiful weather we had for awhile...Addy + Aubree were having a great time drawing chalk one day 😃
 cousin time = dressing up + having a delightful little snack of peanuts + water!
 Some more time was spent in the tractor making one very, very, very dusty 😆

And a blurry selfie with dear cousin Caleb!!

And now the past days have been rainy and cold....we are supposed to have 80's later this week and weekend and I can't wait 😂
I have one more day of school left and it still hasn't quite sunk in that I am done with 9th grade and summer break is about to begin!! I think with the storm, and just a busy winter school went super fast. Anyway, enjoy the rainy day, the sun will shine soon! 🌻🌞

Springtime & Life on our Farm

We are building a heifer barn over our pit, so last week they started working on pouring the concrete walls, which meant the concrete truck needed to come a few times 😃

On Saturday I spent some time in the tractor discing...that was a learning experience 😬😉

We've also been doing things like mowing, weed eating, and all the springy stuff...Jesus has been blessing us with some amazing weather as well...today was chilly again, but I think we are back to the warm weather {which I love} tomorrow!
Stay tuned for a "life lately" post shortly! Enjoy your evening 😃

He is Risen! Hallelujah!

(Google)

"Christ Arose"
-
Low in the grave He lay,
Jesus my Savior,
Waiting the coming day,
Jesus my Lord!

Chorus:
Up from the grave He arose,
With a mighty triumph o’er His foes,
He arose a Victor from the dark domain,
And He lives forever, with His saints to reign.
He arose! He arose!
Hallelujah! Christ arose!

Stanza 2:
Vainly they watch His bed,
Jesus my Savior;
Vainly they seal the dead,
Jesus my Lord!

Stanza 3:
Death cannot keep its prey,
Jesus my Savior;
He tore the bars away,
Jesus my Lord!

Good Friday // weekly encouragement

{Pinterest}

Today is the day that Jesus died on the cross for your sins, for my sins. So that we can enjoy a life with Him in heaven. He was willing to go through so much pain and humiliation, for us. I challenge you to read the verses below and thank Jesus for all he did by dying for us!
Matthew 27:32-54
....32 And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear his cross.
33 And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull,
34 They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink.
35 And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.
36 And sitting down they watched him there;
37 And set up over his head his accusation written, This Is Jesus The King Of The Jews.
38 Then were there two thieves crucified with him, one on the right hand, and another on the left.
39 And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads,
40 And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross.
41 Likewise also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders, said,
42 He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.
43 He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God.
44 The thieves also, which were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth.
45 Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.
46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
47 Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calleth for Elias.
48 And straightway one of them ran, and took a spunge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink.
49 The rest said, Let be, let us see whether Elias will come to save him.
50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.
51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.

Florida // 2017

 Welcome to a preview of our Florida trip 😃 We had a great time...lovely + hot weather, and fun times spent with family!
 Addy dear cheesing big for the camera!

We stayed in a mobile home park, and there was a lake at the edge of the park. It was really pretty! We even got to see the alligator that lives in the lake!

We stayed in Grandpa Martin's house, so we got to use his golf cart to get around to places like the pool + tennis court!

One day we went to the Sarasota Jungle Gardens! Btw, did I mention Grandpa & Grandma Sauder were there with us for most of the time? It was awesome having them there with us! Picture Credits go to Grandpa 😄

We got to see and feed beautiful Flamingos. They walked around looking very proud + prissy!!

Another day we went to Mixon Fruit Farms where they grow + make orange juice. Sadly, the day we were there they weren't processing the oranges 😞

At Mixon's they keep rescued animals....I got to hold a 4 year old alligator!
Brent + Leah were brave enough to touch the Python "Butter"... me? no thanks!
The house where we stayed!

We spent one evening at Lido Beach...that was really beautiful!!

I hope you enjoyed this little preview of our Florida trip...I have some more pictures that I might post in a few days! Hope y'all have a wonderful evening!!
