“He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭13:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

"Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter anything before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few." Ecclesiastes 5:2

Our mouths have SO much power. Both to do lots of good, and lots of bad. The Bible speaks a lot about our tongue, and all it can do. We can find lots of verses talking about our tongues, and the bad they can do. Don't get me wrong, without our mouths we would be "up a crik", but we do need to be very careful and soft spoken with our words. Some people can control their tongue easier than others. For me, I am more quick to pick out the negative in a situation and speak up about it. And that is usually harmful and hurtful! It's ok to state our opinion at the right time, but sometimes we just have to keep our mouths shut. This message goes to me as well as to you....we will be judged for every word we speak!

"But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. Matthew 12:36"
