mini-vacation || january 2018

Hello Friends! Happy winter ❅❆. Just recently we took a little trip West. We left late afternoon and arrived outside Pittsburg about 8:15pm. We stayed at this fairly new Hampton Inn & Suites. It was a lot of fun...we ate Subway in the hotel lobby for a late supper/snack and then headed to our rooms for the night! In the morning, we took a quick swim (it was freezing!) and had a delicious breakfast (eggs, bacon, potatoes, waffles, + more! It was the best hotel breakfast I ever had...mmhh). Dad and Brent did some business in the area, and then we headed towards home. We went home through Johnstown and got to take in the Johnstown Flood Museum. We had the museum all to ourselves, and it was very interesting, and enjoyed by all! Enjoy this lil' sneak peek  of our trip 😊

-believe it or not, they still had some snow on the ground...it was so cold!!-

-the museum was old and pretty...this old pipe organ was a perfect picture place for the gals-

-and selfie time for the oldest bro and sis-

-tiana + addy smiling big-

-the three queens - addy, tiana, leah ♛-

-this quilt was started by some ladies the day of the Johnstown flood. It was not destroyed, and finished later, with special embroidery in memory of one of the ladies that didn't survive-

-the town had some old buildings that were rather photogenic -

-a quick visit to the train station in town...oh the good old days when these were happening places...another reminder of how things have changed!-

-and a family picture with dad as the photographer-

Good Night friends...Have a fantastic weekend 💖

Your unfailing love, O LORD, is as vast as the heavens; your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds. Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, your justice like the ocean depths. You care for people and animals alike, O LORD. How precious is your unfailing love, O God! All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of your wings.
Psalms 36:5-7
